South Fulton Medical Center will hold an open house to celebrate its newly renovated emergency department. The event, which is open to the community, includes tours of the new facility and preventive health screenings.

The Emergency Department Open House will be held August 12, 2004 from 2-6 p.m. South Fulton Medical Center's Emergency Department is located at 1170 Cleveland Avenue in East Point, Georgia. The entrance to the new Emergency Department is next to the hospital front entrance.

The public will be able to participate in free blood pressure checks and glucose (blood sugar) screenings. Information on a variety of health education topics will be provided.
