SFMC Joins 2006 Heart Walk

More than 200 Tenet Altanta employees turned out for the Atlanta Health Walk.

South Fulton Medical Center joined its sister hospitals, Atlanta Medical Center and North Fulton Regional Hospital, at this year's Atlanta Heart Walk.

More than 200 employees plus their families registered for the walk.


	A special tent was set up for the Red Cap participants.

Tenet's Atlanta Market and the Tenet Healthcare Foundation served as Platinum Red Cap Sponsors. The Red Cap designation is given to walk participants who have survived some type of cardiovascular event. These individuals are given special red ballcaps to wear during the walk.

The 2006 Atlanta Heart Walk was held in Piedmont Park. According to the American Heart Association, the walk is expected to raise $1.9 million for the American Heart Association.
