Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery

Even though most deliveries are routine, families find comfort in knowing that South Fulton Medical Center has a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to take care of babies who need special care. These babies need lots of rest so we keep the unit as quiet and stress-free as possible. Minimal stimulation from sound, light and touch are important to these babies.
The NICU is staffed by specially trained physicians, registered nurses and respiratory therapists who give your baby care 24 hours a day. They are happy to answer any questions or discuss any concerns you have about your baby.
