James Clements, CEO

James Clements - Chief Executive Officer

James Clements serves as South Fulton Medical Center’s Chief Executive Officer.  He brings over 20 years of various healthcare experiences to the hospital, including holding positions such as chief financial officer, corporate chief financial officer, chief operating officer and hospital ownership.  Mr. Clements holds a master’s of business administration from Georgia State University as well as a bachelor’s of business administration degree from Mercer University.  

	Robert Russell, COO

Robert Russell - Chief Operating Officer

Robert Russell serves as Chief Operating Officer for South Fulton Medical Center. He has more than 30 years of healthcare experience and began his career in respiratory therapy. Most recently, he served as vice president and senior project manager for another Atlanta area hospital where he was responsible for customer service, education and international affairs including language interpretive services. He earned a masters of science degree in health services management from LaSalle University.
He also earned an associate's degree in respiratory therapy at Thomas Institute and a bachelor of science degree from Biosystems Institute.

Eleanor Post, CNO

Eleanor (Ellie) Post serves as South Fulton's Chief Nursing Officer. She is responsible for all nursing activities at the hospital. Prior to joining South Fulton Medical Center, Post served as assistant administrator for patient care services at Atlanta Medical Center. She has nearly 35 years in the healthcare profession including serving as a staff nurse, nurse manager, clinical instructor and quality assurance coordinator. She holds an associate's degree in nursing from Staten Island College in Staten Island, N.Y., and a bachelor's degree in nursing from Wagner College in Staten Island. She received her master's degree in nursing from New York University in New York City.

Albert Barrocas, M.D. - Chief Medical Officer

Albert Barrocas, M.D., F.A.C.S., serves as the hospital's chief medical officer. Dr. Barrocas is board certified in surgery and has more than 30 years experience in direct patient care and healthcare management. As CMO, he works proactively and collaboratively to promote high quality medical care through interactions with the hospital's medical staff, hospital administrative leadership and support staff in all clinical initiatives. He received his bachelor's and medical degrees from Emory University in Atlanta. He completed surgical residencies at USAF Medical Center at Keesler Air Force Base, Miss., and at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals including the VA Medical Center. Dr. Barrocas is a fellow in the International College of Surgeons, the American College of Nutrition, the Southeastern Surgical Congress and the American College of Surgeons.
