The Radiology Department at South Fulton Medical Center provides patients and physicians with a number of screening and diagnostic tests. Among the services provided are:
The department is staffed by registered or certified radiology technologists.
Information for Patients
Patients may make appointments for screening mammograms without a physician’s order and must meet certain criteria in order to be eligible for a screening mammogram. All other services in the department, including diagnostic mammograms, require a physician’s order.
Some tests require advance preparation by the patient. Any preparatory instructions will be explained to you when you make an appointment.
When coming for your radiology exam, please come to the radiology department, which is located on the first floor.
