EAST POINT, GA (April 11, 2011) - South Fulton Medical Center has opened a newly renovated Surgery Center.
The Surgery Center, located within the hospital, will provide care to patients in need of inpatient or outpatient surgical procedures. The fully accredited facility is equipped with advanced technology that enables surgeons to perform minimally invasive, laparoscopic and laser techniques that can quicken recovery and lessen discomfort. In addition to the clinical expertise of the specially trained surgical staff, the new Surgery Center was designed to provide the utmost comfort and ease to patients and their families.

In order to save patients time, the Surgery Center gathers registration, admission, and pre-surgery testing into one, readily accessible space, streamlining the process. The Surgery Center also features a separate and easily accessible entrance, free parking for surgery patients and their families by valet or in the parking lot adjacent to The Surgery Center, concierge service, family lounge with complimentary beverages and private patient rooms. “The newly renovated Surgery Center is part of our long-term pledge to safeguard the health of our patient’s and make their visit as easy and calming as possible.
