Womens Health Services

South Fulton Medical Center has a variety of services and programs designed to help women achieve and maintain a healthier lifestyle. For example, we offer bone density screenings for women concerned about bone loss and osteoporosis. In addition, our screening and diagnostic mammography services include same-day scheduling at our main hospital campus and our convenient outpatient specialty center at Camp Creek.

And, for those women expecting a new addition to their family, our maternity services offer a combination of medical skill, advanced technology and family-centered care that you will appreciate.  Our labor and delivery suites provide a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere while the post-partum area features mother-baby care in private accommodations. Our Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is staffed by a neonatalogist, neonatal nurses, respiratory therapists, neonatal nurse practioner and physician assistants.

Plus, we offer a wide range of educational classes to keep you and your family healthy – from heart health and diabetes management to preparing for the birth of your first child.
