Meyer Named New Chief Nursing Officer
Dana Meyer has been named as the new Chief Nursing Officer for South Fulton Medical Center.
Meyer received her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati and a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from LaSalle University. She earned a master’s degree in Business Administration from Walden University. Meyer began her career as a bedside nurse in CVICU and CCU. She has held various management positions including the Director of Telemetry Services at Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital; Manager of Cardiac Services at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital; Director of Critical Care Services at Centennial Hills Medical Center.
She was hired at South Fulton Medical Center in 2008 as the Director of Critical Care and Emergency Services and also served as Associate Chief Nursing Officer before assuming her new role.
