The Outpatient Surgery Center at South Fulton Medical Center provides a blend of advanced technology, experienced surgeons and nurses and a warm, welcoming environment for patients and their families.

Procedures relating to outpatient surgery – such as admission, pre-surgical evaluations, examinations, post-operative check-ups and the procedures themselves – are performed within the Outpatient Surgery Center.

Conveniently located in our main hospital building, the board certified surgeons at our Outpatient Surgery Center are equipped to perform a wide range of elective and outpatient procedures – many of which can be completed using minimally invasive single incision, laparoscopic and laser techniques designed to offer quick recovery times and less discomfort than traditional surgery. Our multi-specialty Outpatient Surgery Center was designed to make outpatient procedures comfortable, convenient and efficient. And, with outpatient surgery, patients can
recuperate in the familiar surroundings of home.

We have recently renovated our facilities to increase the comfort of our patients and their visitors with the addition of a spacious lounge, complementary beverages, cable television and wireless internet access. Family members or friends who must leave the facility may borrow an “outpatient beeper” to notify them when the procedure is complete.
