In designing our new Surgery Center, we aimed to re-invent the patient experience at South Fulton Medical Center – from registration to recovery – so that you and your family would feel at ease and well cared for. From the moment you arrive at valet parking, you will be our guest in a welcoming and restful environment designed for comfort and restoration.
Just inside our dedicated Surgery Center entrance, we have gathered the functions of registration, admission, and pre-surgery testing into one welcoming and readily accessible space. And, our fully accredited surgery and recovery areas are located a few short steps away.
Our friendly, experienced staff and the warm, inviting design of The Surgery Center come together to provide an environment conducive to healing. At the same time, we recognize the exceptional power of family-centered healing and have incorporated many features to help you and your family members feel welcomed and comfortable:
- Separate and easily accessible Surgery Center entrance
- Free parking for our surgery patients and their families by valet or in the parking lot adjacent to The Surgery Center
- Concierge service standing by to assist with any necessary errands
- Family lounge with complimentary beverages
- Private patient rooms renovated and filled with natural light to enhance the healing environment
- Family members or friends who must leave the facility may borrow an “outpatient beeper” to notify them when the procedure is complete.
